The Santa Monica Bay Sailing Foundation provided a grant to SBYRC as they conducted the Homeport Regatta. This year it included the “Introduction to Yacht Racing” seminar and both events were hosted at Del Rey Yacht Club. Brendan Huffman and Greg Rutter were the organizers and presenters. There were 60 attendees and approximately 20 volunteers providing their boats and expertise on boat handling to who had goals of joining them at the start line. All of this took place all day on March 23, 2024.
