GEAR AND EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
These donations are accepted throughout the year based on current IRS guidelines. Much of the equipment is refurbished (if needed) and put up for sale as soon as practical. The funds raised from such sales are applied where the need is greatest. An acknowledgement is promptly forwarded to the donor with verification of the sales price for income tax purposes. The Foundation’s “EBAY for Santa Monica Bay” program promotes an annual clean-up and recycle program to collect equipment donations for resale and reuse.
