The SANTA MONICA BAY SAILING FOUNDATION (SMBSF),a 501(c)(3) corporation, has changed lives through the sport of sailingand other boating activities. Ourcommunity reaches throughout the Santa Monica Bay and includes programs fromWestlake Village, Marina del Rey and Redondo Beach. For 20 years the Foundationhas developed innovative programs for qualified participants of all ages andabilities with no discrimination and no requirements to be a member of anyspecific yacht club. In 1999, we were awarded the David Poe Service Award,given by the Association of Santa Monica Yacht Clubs (ASMBYC), for our effortsin supporting our community. All of our Board members share a passion forboating and it is our goal to share that passion with others.
